Whey protein concentrate
Instead of whey isolate
~$25 for 2 lb against ~$45
The same protein. Isolate is the same whey, filtered further.
Isolate runs a higher protein percentage by weight because more of the lactose and fat has been filtered out of it. For anyone eating enough protein across a day, that difference vanishes into the rounding. Concentrate costs less per gram and tastes better, since the fat that got filtered out was carrying the flavour.
If you are lactose intolerant, the filtering is the entire point and the isolate earns its money. Same if you are counting macros closely enough that a few grams change the day.

Some of these are Amazon affiliate links, and buying through one earns Yojo Dojo a small commission at no extra cost to you. Where a maker sells direct, the link goes there instead and usually pays less. Prices are rough, not live, and nothing on this page paid to be here.
