Magnesium glycinate powder, in bulk
Instead of a liposomal magnesium bottle
~$20 for 250g, about 18 cents a day, against $45 to $68 a bottle
The same chelate. Liposomal packaging is a delivery claim wrapped around it.
Glycinate is the form people reach for because it is gentler on the gut than oxide or citrate, and that much is fair. What the money buys at the top of the market is the delivery system rather than more magnesium. The bulk bag is the same chelate at a fraction of the cost per day, and it prints the elemental dose, which the blends often bury.
Glycinate is bulky, so a full dose is a large scoop and it does not disappear into water. Most of what magnesium gets sold for rests on thin evidence. Correcting a genuine shortfall is the part that holds up, and that is a blood test rather than a guess.
